哈利·波特與阿茲卡班的逃犯是一個電腦和電視遊戲。它在2004年正式發行，與電影版本 同時推出。而電影版和遊戲都是在JK羅琳所撰寫的哈利波特的第三集小說的基礎下製作。

- 哈利·波特：遊戲的主角。在遊戲中大部分時間都能控制他。哈利·波特是遊戲中唯一一個可以跳躍的角色，而且他的跑步速度最快。
- 妙麗·格蘭傑：哈利的好友。妙麗是唯一一個角色在細小的地方爬行和她能使用最多咒語。
- 榮恩·衛斯理: 哈利的好友。榮恩是唯一一個角色能夠找出秘密隧道。

- 跩哥·馬份：哈利的仇人。Malfoy is injured by Hagrid's Hippogriff, Buckbeak, in a Care of Magical Creatures class early on in the game and is instrumental in getting the Hippogriff put on trial.
- 阿不思·鄧不利多：霍格華茲魔法學校的校長。他在遊戲中極少出現，但是你可以在公布學院分的時候看到他。
- 麥教授：霍格華茲的變形學教師和葛來芬多學院的導師。

- Depulso蒂柏索: (只限電腦版本))Flipendo的升級版咒語。哈利、榮恩和妙麗都能夠使用此咒語。
- 除你武器:(電腦版本除外)哈利在二年級的時候，曾經使用過這個咒語。 It knocks back other's spells. 哈利、榮恩和妙麗都能夠使用此咒語。
- Glacius格雷休斯(冷凍咒): Freezes water and 亞馬遜火蜥蜴salamanders, and extinguishes fires. Only Hermione (or Harry in PC version) can use this spell.
- Lumos Duo: (電腦版本除外)熒光閃爍的升級版咒語。Light emits from wand, causing Hinkypunks to turn solid, and ghouls to retreat.只有榮恩才能使用此咒語。
- Reparo: (電腦版本除外) Fixes broken objects.只有妙麗才能使用此咒語。
- Carpe Retractum卡皮˙雷吹克糖: Pulls objects toward the caster, or the caster toward the object. Only Harry(or Ron in PC version) can use this spell.

- Draconifors德拉古尼佛斯: Transfigures small statues of Dragons into living Dragons. 只有妙麗才能使用此咒語。

Note that none of these are in the PC game.
- Wiggenweld Potion: Retrieves lost stamina. Previously brewed in Harry's 1st and 2nd year and previously used in Harry's 2nd year. Ingredients: Dittany, Flobberworm Mucus, Wiggentree Bark and Unknown
- Antidote to Uncommon Poisons: Saves from poisoning if player has been bitten by a doxy. Ingredients: Fire Seeds, Bicorn Horn, Billywig Stings and Chizpurfel Carapaces.
- Girding Potion: Gives player extra endurance. Ingredients: Dragonfly Thoraxes, Fairy wings, Flying Seahorses and Unknown.

Harry Potter learns that a dangerous man, Sirius Black, has escaped from the Wizarding prison, Azkaban, and is supposedly after Harry. With his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry masters the spells necessary to confront Black. However, Black is not all he seems: He was convicted of the murder of thirteen people nearly thirteen years ago, but the real murderer, Peter Pettigrew, is hiding in the guise of Ron's pet rat, Scabbers. Together with Professor Lupin and Black, Harry, Ron, and Hermione unmask Pettigrew, only to have him escape when Professor Lupin turns into a Werewolf. Using Hermione's Time-Turner, Harry and Hermione go back in time and rescue Hagrid's Hippogriff, Buckbeak, and use him to rescue Black.
