Michael Conrad

Michael Conrad New York City, New York, VS, 16 oktober 1925 - Los Angeles, Californië, VS, 22 november 1983. Amerikaanse acteur, vooral bekend door zijn rol als Sgt. Phil Esterhaus in Hill Street Blues. Voor die rol won hij in 1981 en 1982 dan ook de Emmy voor Beste Mannelijke Bijrol.

Conrad speelde ook vele bijrollen in films, waaronder de originele The Longest Yard uit 1974, met o.a. Burt Reynolds.

Hij was van 27 januari 1974 tot aan zijn dood getrouwd met Sima Goldberg. Hij overleed aan kanker, 5 weken na zijn 58-ste verjaardag. Met zijn dood stierf ook zijn personage Phil Esterhaus in Hill Street Blues. Echter, Esterhaus stierf tijdens een vrijpartij.
