類語辭典
维基百科，自由的百科全书
16世紀時，新拉丁語開始被創造出來且使用，而類語辭典（thesaurus）便是由新拉丁語中被創造出來的一詞，由古希臘語有金庫意思的thesuros導到拉丁語中的thesaurus，再在新拉丁語被當做金庫的意思來使用。除了金庫的意思之外，它更常被使用來表示一串有著相似、相關或相反意思的單字，即類語辭典的意思（這個意思最早開始於羅傑類語辭典）。
