Wisley

Wisley, England is a small village in Surrey, between Cobham and Ripley. It is the home of the Royal Horticultural Society's Wisley Garden which is one of the largest and most celebrated gardens in England.
Wisley gives its name to the nearby road intersection of the A3 London to Portsmouth trunk road and the London Orbital M25 motorway, Junction 10.
Woodlands near the village are also the location of one very good set of "secret" Dirt Jumping trails in the UK, as well as various cross-country routes. There are some good mountain bike trails around the woods in that junction of the M25 /A3 too.
Wisley Golf Club is located in the village. A course with such celebrity members as Tim Henman and many many more. One of the green keepers at the club is a Mr. Matthew Rich

Wisley Airfield is situated at the junction of the M25/A3.[1] It has a 6691ft runway. Details of its history can be found here.[2]
[edit] Record breaking temperature
On 19 July 2006 the hottest temperature ever recorded in the month of July in the United Kingdom was recorded at Wisley, 36.5 °C (97.7 °F). This broke the record of 36 °C recorded in Epsom, Surrey on 22 July 1911.[3] The all-time United Kingdom record is 38.5 °C (101.3 °F) set near Faversham, Kent, on 10 August 2003.
