Walt Disney Records

Walt Disney Records is a record company and part of The Walt Disney Company.

The label was established in 1956 under the name Disneyland Records; its first release was A Child's Garden of Verses. The company changed to its current name in 1989. Most of its output is mainly children's music and recordings, mostly based on Disney cartoons.

It broke records with the release of the soundtracks to High School Musical, The Cheetah Girls 2, and "Hannah Montana"in 2006, which sold platinum many times over.
