Sramik Praja Swaraj Dal

The Sramik Praja Swaraj Dal (Peasants and Workers Independence Party) was a political party in India formed in 1925. Its manifesto committed it to the eradication of socio-economic inequality and discrimination and the attainment of full independence for India from British Raj. One of its most prominent leaders was Bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, who served as chief editor of its mouthpiece Langal.
