I have edited all around Wikipedia, however my main area of focus is: Vedanta, Nonduality and Hinduism.
The task which I have assigned myself is to keep vigilant watch over any page associated with Transcendental Meditation. Again and again, proponents and members of the TM movement have tried to use Wikipedia as a means of promoting TM and hide the scandals associated with it.
One of my best friends swears by TM and I believe it has done great things for him. And my research suggests that the TM organization is involved in numerous lies and that for some people, TM is flat out dangerous. So that's my bottom line.... TM really helps some people and really hurts other people. And that if you go deeper into TM then just learning the basic TM technique, you are in fact involved in a cult.
I don't feel the need to have the final say on whether TM is "good" or "bad." I will fight though to include the negative and critical. And I will fight for their to be a neutral description of the what the TM movement is.
Since I have been here- two users have been on the verge of being banned, then dropped off the face of the earth, from wikipedia because of their involvement with the TM page. I hope this doesn't happen any more, it's a pain in the butt to have someone tear about a page, the community come together and then they leave before we can even kick them out!

The fact that Seethie does not understand the scope for an article about different state of consciousness confirms this man's fantastic ignorance about a subject he has made himself the unsolicitated censor of. (2) Rosoft is a self-proclaimed nihilist. I think with needs to be avoided is the article remaining hostage to sex peddlers, self-promoters or Christian and Jewish fundamentlists. Peterklutz [2]
