Beverly Hills 90210 fu una serie tv, di produzione USA, che fu molto popolare negli anni Novanta. La serie televisiva fu creata dai produttori Aaron Spelling e Darren Star. Il 90210 del titolo si riferisce allo ZIP (termine con cui negli USA si indica il codice d'avviamento postale) del quartiere residenziale losangelino.

Lo show seguiva le vicissitudini di un gruppo di adolescenti dell'alta borghesia, abitanti nel quartiere VIP di Beverly Hills, a Los Angeles. La storia inizia quando i due fratelli gemelli Brandon e Brenda, lasciandosi alle spalle Minneapolis, si trasferiscono a Beverly Hills assieme ai genitori e si trovano di fronte ad un mondo nuovo, una nuova scuola e soprattutto nuove amicizie.

Sebbene la prima stagione ebbe, negli Stati Uniti un basso indice di ascolti, la Fox pose le basi per il rilancio con un'innovativa mini-serie nel 1991 e l'audience aumentò vertiginosamente. Così, in poco tempo, Jason Priestley e Luke Perry, divennero idoli delle ragazzine.
