Photographie de l'fr:Agence spatiale européenne, prise par le télescope américain Hubble, d'un effet de fr:lentille gravitationnelle plus connu sous le nom anglophone d'Einstein Cross. Il s'agit de quatre images d'un même fr:quasar, distant d'environ 8 milliards d'années lumière et certainement démultiplié par la présence d'une fr:galaxie (située elle à environ 400 millions d'al.). L'angle de séparation entre les bords inférieurs et supérieurs de l'image est inférieur à 1,6 seconde d'arc.
