Connie Rubirosa is a fictional character, portrayed by Alana de la Garza, who joined the cast of long-running NBC drama series Law & Order during the premiere of the seventeenth season, which began on September 22, 2006. [1] Rubirosa is a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney and is the successor of Alexandra Borgia, who was murdered on the season finale of season sixteen. The first Latina/Irish cast member, Rubirosa works as the assistant to Jack McCoy.
Her legal and political philosophy is somewhat hazy, as her character has not yet been completely revealed, but all indications are that while she is not as liberal as Serena Southerlyn and Claire Kincaid, she is certainly to the left of Borgia and Abbie Carmichael.
