Challenge Tour Grand Final

The Challenge Tour Grand Final is the season ending tour championship on golf's Challenge Tour, the second tier men's professional tour in Europe. It has been played every year but one since 1995 at various courses. Usually it takes place in Southern Europe, but in 1999 and 2000 it was played in Cuba. The tournament has had several sponsored names. The field currently consists of the top 45 players on the Challenge Tour rankings. In 2006 the prize fund is €250,000, the third largest of the 2006 Challenge Tour season after those of the Aa St Omer Open, which is also an official money event on the European Tour, and the Kazakhstan Open.
