British School of Washington D.C. is an international school located in Washington D.C. teaching the British curriculum in the United States of America.

The British School of Washington D.C. functions under the British curriculum in the United States of America. Students are divided into four Key Stages of their education, which last for relatively three to four years. At the end of each stage they are subject to a standardised test taken in conjunction with the United Kingdom. The Key Stage program finishes in tenth grade with the final tests of the GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) and graduate secondary school within the boundaries of the IB Diploma.

Teachers at The British School of Washington D.C. range between the ages of 25 and 50. All teachers are either British or have been educated within British Universities.

The British School of Washington has very limited sports facilities, though it does play host to a Basketball and Lacrosse team.
